Dictionary of digital terms explained like a friend

Table of Contents

The digital world has its own language. One day they talk to you about EEAT, the following day IN P, RAG o data-driven attribution…and if you don't master the vocabulary, you could miss important decisions. This dictionary of digital terms It was created for that: so that you understand (and use) the concepts that drive your website, your campaigns and your products, without straw, with examples and a practical approach.

We have built it with criteria of EEAT (Experience, Expertise, Authority and Trust): clear definitions, real-life context, common mistakes, and references to standards where necessary (W3C, Google Search Central, IAB Tech Lab, among others). In addition, each term links to other related terms so you can learn online.

How to get the most out of it: use the AZ index for quick inquiries, or come in categories If you're working in a specific area (SEO, Analytics, UX/CRO, Web Development, Ads, Social, Data/AI, E-commerce, Legal/Privacy). Each tab includes a one-line definition, when to use it, a short example, typical mistakes, and a "see also" option.

How to use this dictionary

What it covers and how it's organized (AZ + categories)

We cover the terms that have the most impact on performance, growth and decision-making in digital environments: SEO/Content, Analytics/Measurement, UX/CRO, Web Development, Advertising/Ads, Social/Community, Data/AI, E-commerce and Legal/Privacy.
We organize it in two complementary ways:

  • AZ for quick search.

  • By categories to work with focus (e.g. optimizing Core Web Vitals or setting up an Ads funnel).

Each card follows a standard format so you can learn at cruising speed:

  1. Clear definition in one sentence (no jargon).

  2. when to use it (decisions that accelerate).

  3. object lesson (short and actionable).

  4. Common Mistakes (what is most confusing).

  5. See also (connected terms).

Quality criteria and continuous updating

  • plain language + Technical precision. If the term has nuances (e.g., "domain authority" in tools vs. actual Google signals), we indicate them.

  • Rigor and contrasts: Where applicable, we align with official documentation (W3C for accessibility, Google for CWV/SEO, IAB for advertising measurement, etc.).

  • Update- We periodically review sensitive blocks (SEO, Analytics, AI, privacy). Each block may have last revision date.

  • Transparency: If there is debate or multiple approaches (e.g. attribution models), we point it out and give you decision criteria.
